From 0:00 to 24:00 on December 17, Shanghai reported 2 new confirmed cases imported from overseas. One new discharged case was added.
As of 24:00 on December 17, 522 confirmed cases were reported overseas and 28 related cases were reported overseas. 518 cases were discharged from hospital and 32 cases were still treated in hospital.
As of 24:00 on December 17, a total of 349 confirmed cases in China were reported. 348 patients were discharged from hospital and 1 patient died.
From 0:00 to 24:00 on December 17, no new asymptomatic infected persons were found.
2 new cases imported from overseas
New overseas input Case 1:
Male, 25 years old, native of Henan, resident in Nanyang city, Henan province, network anchor.
Add overseas input Case 2:
Female, 27 years old, native of Henan, resident in Nanyang city, Henan province, network anchor.
New overseas imported cases 1 and 2 have the same entry itinerary. On December 15, flight CZ6068 from Nepal flew to Shanghai for entry on the same day. After sampling, customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure. The feedback of covid-19 nucleic acid was positive, which was transferred to Shanghai Eighth People’s Hospital for isolation treatment. After CT examination and expert consultation, all patients were diagnosed as covid-19 confirmed cases.
