From 0:00 to 24:00 on January 4, 2021, Shanghai reported 3 new confirmed cases imported from overseas. One new discharged case was added.

As of 24: 00 on January 4, 2021, 543 confirmed cases were reported overseas and 28 related cases were reported overseas. 549 patients were discharged from hospital and 22 patients were still treated in hospital.

As of 24:00 on January 4, 2021, 349 confirmed cases were reported in China. 348 patients were discharged from hospital and 1 patient died.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on January 4, 2021, a new case of asymptomatic infection was imported overseas.

New overseas input Case 1:

Male, 19 years old, native of Tianjin, resident in Tianjin Binhai New Area, student. Starting from Canada on December 31, they flew to Shanghai on January 2 by flight WS711 and CZ330. After sampling, the customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure. Feedback the positive nucleic acid of coronavirus, that is, transfer to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment, after CT examination and expert consultation, diagnosed as a confirmed case of coronavirus.

Add overseas input Case 2:

Male, 45 years old, native of Jiangxi, resident in Ganzhou city, Jiangxi province, worker. Starting from Zimbabwe on December 23, they flew to Shanghai for entry on December 26 by flight EK714 and EK362 successively. After sampling, the customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure, and the new coronavirus nucleic acid was negative. During the centralized isolation period, the new coronavirus nucleic acid was tested positive, which was transferred to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment. After CT examination and expert consultation, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronavirus.

Male, 41 years old, native of Hubei, resident in Suizhou city, Hubei province, worker. Starting from Congo gold on December 28, they flew to Shanghai on January 2 by taking KG586 and KQ882 successively. Feedback the positive nucleic acid of coronavirus, that is, transfer to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment, after CT examination and expert consultation, diagnosed as a confirmed case of coronavirus.

Male, 37 years old, native of Shandong, resident in Liaocheng city, Shandong province, engineer. On January 1, KQ882 flight from Kenya flew to Shanghai for entry on January 2. After sampling, the customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure. Feedback the positive nucleic acid of coronavirus, that is, transfer to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment.
