On July 20, 2021, the staff of Nanjing Lukou International Airport found positive samples of coronavirus nucleic acid during regular testing. As of July 21, 17 positive patients were found, one case of Delta variant infection has been detected and 10 medium-risk areas have been identified. In order to do a good job in the prevention and control of the new coronavirus epidemic in Shanghai, Shanghai CDC reminded the general public to cooperate with the following matters: if not necessary, citizens should not go to Nanjing in the near future.
In addition, in the past 14 days (since July 7), people coming from Nanjing (returning) should take the initiative to report to the neighborhood committee (village committee) and actively cooperate with community health management measures.
Nanjing officially launched the city’s full nucleic acid test
The joint prevention and control work headquarters of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in Nanjing released a message. In order to further quickly and effectively block the spread of the new coronavirus epidemic and effectively protect people’s lives and health, through research, the city is scheduled to start a full nucleic acid test for the city’s resident population and laining personnel on July 21.
