Recently, the People’s Procuratorate of Huli District released the first half of the year’s “corruption report card” and announced 11 cases of corruption and bribery.
According to reports, in the first half of 2015, the People’s Procuratorate of Huli district stepped up efforts to fight corruption. The Kyoritsu case investigated 11 cases of corruption and bribery, including 4 department-level cadres and 4 department-level cadres, the rate of major cases reached 100%, the total amount involved was more than 8.18 million yuan, and the economic loss was recovered by handling the case by more than 2.85 million yuan.
On January this year, the People’s Procuratorate of Huli District decided after examination that Xie Wei, a staff member of the Comprehensive Department of Xiamen Port Group Property Management Co., Ltd. (state-owned company), was suspected of corruption and investigated according to law and took coercive measures.
In the same month, the hospital also filed a case for investigating Wang Baozhu, a villager of Yinglin village, Yinglin Town, Jinjiang city.
In February, Chen Qingjin, an employee of Xiamen Heyi housing relocation service Co., Ltd., was investigated for the crime of accepting bribes.
In March, Yang Zhiqiang, the former director of the police of the brigade directly under the traffic police detachment of Xiamen city, was suspected of accepting bribes.
From April to May, the Huli procuratorate investigated six people, including Wang Yongmin, the former director of the vehicle management office of Xiamen traffic police detachment (department level), who were suspected of accepting bribes.
In May, under the designated jurisdiction, the Lake procuratorate filed a case for investigation against Zhang Yanhui (Zhengke level), the former director of the police of the special service mobile brigade of Xiamen traffic police detachment, on suspicion of accepting bribes. (Reporter Chen Jie)
