From 0:00 to 24:00 on December 2, Shanghai reported 3 new confirmed cases imported from overseas.

As of 24:00 on December 2, a total of 501 confirmed cases imported overseas and 28 related cases imported overseas were reported. A total of 500 cases were discharged and 29 cases were still treated in hospital.

Three new confirmed cases imported from overseas:

Newly added overseas imported Case 1: female, 34 years old, native of Anhui, resident in Hefei city, Anhui province, unemployed. On November 23, the MS882 flight from Ghana arrived in Egypt on the same day, and on November 27, the MS958 flight from Egypt arrived in Shanghai on the same day. After sampling, the customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure, the feedback is negative for coronavirus nucleic acid. During the centralized isolation period, the new coronavirus nucleic acid was tested positive, which was transferred to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment. After CT examination and expert consultation, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronavirus.

Newly added overseas imported case 2: female, 24 years old, native of Fujian, resident in Fuzhou, Fujian province, unemployed. On November 27, the CZ312 flight from Canada flew to Shanghai to enter the country on November 28. After sampling, the customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure, and the new coronavirus nucleic acid was negative. During the centralized isolation period, the new coronavirus nucleic acid was tested positive, which was transferred to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment. After CT examination and expert consultation, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronavirus.

Newly added overseas imported Case 3: male, 42 years old, foreign nationality. Starting from Iraq on November 27, they flew to Shanghai on November 30 by flight IA1111 and W5081. After sampling, the customs transferred to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure. Feedback the positive nucleic acid of coronavirus, that is, transfer to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment, after CT examination and expert consultation, diagnosed as a confirmed case of coronavirus.
