The status of one new overseas imported case:
Male, 17 years old, Heilongjiang nationality, domestic residence in Dalian city, Liaoning province, British students.
On April 16, the patient took flight CZ304 from the UK and arrived at Shanghai Baiyun International Airport on 17th. After sampling, the patient was transferred to the centralized isolation point. On the 18th, Shanghai customs reported that the coronavirus nucleic acid was positive, that is, transfer to Shanghai Eighth People’s Hospital for isolation treatment. After further examination and expert consultation, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of covid-19.
The 19 close contacts of this case have conducted centralized isolation medical observation according to relevant regulations.
15 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons:
Two cases were found by the investigation at the port of entry. One person was from the United States and one person was from the United Kingdom. Seven cases were found from close contacts who had been included in isolated medical observation. Six people were foreign nationality, one person is Chinese; Six cases are related personnel involved in recently reported cases, as well as key areas and key places. They are all Chinese. All the above asymptomatic infected persons were found for active investigation, and 33 close contacts had been observed in centralized isolation medicine according to relevant regulations. The relevant living places and activity places involved in the case have been terminally disinfected, and the environmental samples are all negative. The same measures as those of confirmed cases are implemented for asymptomatic infected persons, all of which are treated separately in designated hospitals.
