Newly added confirmed cases imported from overseas: male, 38 years old, from Shanghai, China, living in Hunter Street, Tianhe district, and visiting relatives in the United States recently.
On April 5, the patient arrived at Shanghai Baiyun International Airport on 7th by taking B6523 and CZ328 flights from the United States. After the customs sampling and inspection, the patient was transferred to the centralized isolation point.
On April 7, the customs reported that the test result was positive for coronavirus nucleic acid, which was transferred to the Eighth People’s Hospital of Shanghai for isolation treatment.
On April 8, after further examination and expert consultation, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of covid-19.

Newly added overseas imported confirmed Case 2: female, 31 years old, Shanghai, China.
The above two patients are husband and wife. Shanghai lives in Longdong Street, Tianhe district, and works in a trade city on Guangyuan West Road. They are engaged in foreign trade wholesale business. Recently, they mainly live in residence and trade city.
According to epidemiological investigation, two patients are close contacts of a confirmed case of Nigeria recently.
On April 5, two patients were included in the centralized isolation medical observation object and sampled for examination. The screening results on the 6th were all positive for coronavirus nucleic acid, and the review results on the 7th were also positive, that is, transfer to Shanghai Eighth People’s Hospital for isolation treatment.
On April 8, after further examination and expert consultation, all patients were diagnosed as confirmed cases of covid-19.
